An analogous portrait

The colourful birdies on the trees
the moist dew drops on the leaves
the innocent fishes in the ponds
the soothing breezes in the dawn
all these sprawl a lustre on the divine earth

the lush green fields
the greenish blue gorges
the spurt of the gurgling river
the balmy and cosy sunlight
all these portray a scene of placidity and delight

but...
all of a sudden, a cloud of rain
peeks out of the sky so pure
causing sheer darkness
and driving away all the lure

the wind starts blowing
the storm starts growing
the river starts surging
the greenery starts deteriorating

where is the balmy sunlight?
where are the lush green fields?
where are the scenic gorges?
where are the soothing breezes?

are all these indications of a never coming golden sunlight?
are all these depictions of a never yielding lush green field?
does the frenetic storm never end?

this is not just the portrait of a paradox scenery
where you find a bright sunshine now and
a frenzied storm the other day...
it is.....the analogous portrait of the human mind
where a melange of musings interwind!!!!
