As a part of this ebullient life i made many friends as every other person does make but my buddy usha about whom i am penning this blog is special to me.I share a special camaraderie with her and so am jotting this blog.
Usha and i joined an MNC on the same date and hence were into the same batch.I met her for the first time at the engineering college when i had been there to collect my certificates. The sweet smile on her face was the one which dazzled me when we broke ice.I did not confabulate much with her on that day but was enamoured of her.
After one and half month of training we were into our respective projects. In no time we turned out to be close friends. She is innocent, friendly and talented. As meeting and making friends is quite common so is the departing. Finally the day arrived which was her last day at the organisation as she was selected for some other MNC and her last day with us too(may not be starkly but partially)
As usual we both reached the office in our respective buses.I was a bit poignant that day so was Usha and our remaining group of friends. She pinged me and enquired if i was busy.I told her that i was just in and so was absolutely not.She asked me to come to her desk as she brought my favourite dish maggie. With elation i went to her desk and gorged it.Later she asked me to accompany her as she would like to meet our batch mates and other pals once before leaving.I along with my buddy deepthi marched to the desks of our batchmates with Usha. Each and everyone of them wished Usha good luck for her furture endeavours dewy eyed.
Finally it was dusk and so was time for departure. All of a sudden i was in a fix as i had some issue in my project. It was already 6.30 P.M. and our buses start at 7 P.M.I felt like meeting Usha but had to fix the issue immediately. My heart was pounding fast but by god's grace i could fix it quickly and paced off to the foodcourt where she was waiting for me.I felt quite relaxed and joined her.She was almost dewy eyed which i could sense but she brought no shades of it on the face and spoke quite casually.I too spoke to her quite casually despite the grief trying relentlessly to pierce out.I wished her good luck, asked her to keep in touch, emboldened her advising her not to panic much as she would be into a new ambience once again.
It was 6.55 P.M. and was time for our buses. With doleful hearts we got into our respective buses. As i quoted previously meeting and departing is a part of this bizarre life, but the reminiscences that those wonderful pals leave with us are what keep us going and that's what is called LIFE...Live Impertubably For Ever....
